Julianne Morris joined the cast of "Days of Our Lives" in February 1998 as the mysterious Swamp Girl who may hold the key to Hope's unknown past.

After attending the prestigious American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York, Morris moved west and began her professional acting career on the daytime drama "The Young and the Restless" from 1994 to 1996. When her daytime stint was over, Morris moved to Cape Town, South Africa, to join the syndicated series "The Adventures of Sinbad", where she enjoyed one season as a villainous vixen. Back on American soil Morris is thrilled to be working on "Days of Our Lives". She says, "I couldn't ask to work with a better group of people."

Morris is currently active in the Los Angeles community with Stitches, a group which assists underprivileged children and their families. She was born in South Carolina but grew up in Windermere, Florida, and is the youngest of two children. Her birthday is May 8.
