Sarah Michelle Gellar was born in New York City on April 14, 1977. At the age of 4 she was discovered, and made her feature film debut in "Invasion of Privacy". In 1993 she began working on "All My Children" where she won a Daytime Emmy in 1995. In 1996 she began portraying Buffy Summers in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
